Not impressed I have to say as there is no indication of scale, does the image represent the entire northern sky visible at one time, or 10% (or 20% or 30% for that matter)
Also don't understand the statement 'If they were brighter, this is how they would appear in our night sky'!! Really? Well there you go!!

Thanks Kate, - am already coming to the Astro Fair 11th August, but further updates on events would be useful.

if you get a bigger case.......then you'ill only have a half full case and out comes the wallet again!!
Yeah that's what I love about astronomy, you never get to use what equipment you have so you go and buy some more ..!

Good to hear you get good service from FLO as well. I always find them helpful and informative as well. Well done FLO

I think it would be good if there was a 'New Thread' link on the command bar.
'New Posts' is OK but often I want to read what is new to the forum, not re-hashes of the old threads. The only way to find the new stuff is to wade through all the different SGL links.
Not a complaint, just a suggestion.

It isa not often that retailers do themselves out of business, and even rarer that they actually offer you an alternative that loses them business, but that is what has just happened at FLO.
I had just purchased a T Ring for my Canon and could not see how to get it onto the focuser so looked in FLO's catalogue and saw a T adapter that I thought might do the trick.
Before wasting my money I decided to write to Steve at FLO and ask if I this was the right piece of equipment and he replied very quickly telling me how I could attached the T Ring without buying the adapter. Tried his suggestion and it worked a treat!
So a big thank you to a retailer who puts customers satisfaction before profit margins.
Hat's off to Steve.

I run SETI@home and Einstein@home on my lap top and rarely look to see what it is doing. I have to leave the laptop on to updat my weather station site so it may as well be doing something.
