  1. Here you go, sorry I didnt video the collimation but I can vouch that it made all the difference once I did it I still use this scope regularly and added a battery focuser and clock drive. It will happily take a DSLR for some basic imaging too! Hope this helps - have fun!

Just found the footage I shot, so I will cobble it together, upload it to my youtube channel, and let you have the link when done Might take me a little while so please bear with me Cheers

  8. One of my first attempts at Afocal photography with my relatively new (to me) scope. Not perfect but reasonably happy for an early attempt Any constructive comments welcome :-) Details: Tasco 302012 114mm reflector telescope. Afocal through 40mm wide angle EP with Canon HF100 Camcorder. 13 Second movie clip at 1080p 60fps stacked in Registax 6 and modified in Photoshop CS3
  9. Urgh - dont know why it did that to the text so here it is again! Got this last night , 10th Jan 2013. Was 10:30 - it had just stopped p**ing it down and it was windy as hell! That combined with being in the center of a town didn't fill me with much hope of getting anything but I was actually pleasantly surprised for a first attempt Taken through Tasco 302012 scope. 9mm ultra wide EP, Revelation 2.5 x barlow. Afocal shot using Nikon coolpix S2000 3s AvI stacked in registax v6 and processed in photoshop CS3

  13. From the album: General Bits

The one on the right came with a reflector and could achieve could focus in my 114mm scope The one on the left came with a 600mm refractor - it would focus in that scope but NOT in the reflector
