  1. Thanks for the comments folks, I had a nice LRGB image Sara and there was no signs of the Phantoms face but when I started imaging my first Ha sub there it was. Bob
  2. Thanks Wim and Goran when I completed the LRGB image I was getting a bit concerned as there was no sign of the Phantom mask but it came out in the Ha data so it ended up Okay in the end. Bob
  3. Thanks domstar it is a good target to have a go at. Bob
  4. Thanks Ken it is difficult to get the colour right. Bob
  5. Thanks, it is a fairly faint nebula which needs the Ha component. Bob
  6. Thanks Ken it came out with weird colours as a bicolour image it is still noisy but I hope to get more data when the clouds allow. Bob
  7. A LHaRGB image of Sh2 173 imaged over four nights in September Luminance of 4 x 600 + 9 x 900 un binned Ha of 8 x 900 + 4 x 1200 binned 2 x 2 RGB of 6 x 300 each binned 2 x 2 scope WO 90 megrez at F 5.5 camera QHY9 m
  8. Sh2 188 a bicolour image a lot more data required on this target Ha 11 x 600 Olll 9 x 600 All binned 2 x 2 scope Celestron 280 mm at F 6.3 camera QHY9m
  9. A LRGB image of Sh2 136 Luminance of 6 x 600 + 8 x 900 un binned imaged on 17/20/23-08-17 Red 4 x 300 Green 5 x 300 Blue 6 x 300 binned 2 x 2 imaged on 24-08-17 scope WO 90 megrez at F 5.5 QHY9m camera
  10. A HaRGB image of Sh2 140 Ha of 11 x 600 + 5 x 900 un binned imaged on 10-08-17 Red 6 x 300 Green 8 x 300 Blue 7 x 300 binned 2 x 2 imaged on 15-08-17 scope WO 90 megrez at F 5.5 QHY9m camera
  11. Thanks Paddy the problem is with imaging in the UK you just have to take what you get if there is any clear spells. Bob
  12. Thanks for the kind comments and agree with you there Chris I find the stars hard to get just right with this set up. Bob
  13. It was a poor night on Monday the 24th but with not being out imaging for a month I had a go getting Luminance of 8 x 10 minutes un-binned imaging through passing clouds I have made a LRGB image adding 25 x 10 minutes of RGB from 2011 this is the image scope Celestron 280 mm at F6.3 QHY8 Pro and QHY9 m cameras. Bob
  14. Thanks again for looking at the image. Bob
  15. Thanks for the comments the Luminance let me down as it was poor seeing but I hope to have another go at it. Bob
  16. Luminance of 13 x 10 minutes un-binned from 28-02-17 seeing was poor so not great subs I will try and get some new data when possible I combined this with some old RGB of 19 x 10 minutes from 2011 scope Celestron 280 mm at F10 QHY8 Pro and QHY9m cameras. Bob
  17. Thanks for the comments Pete I had another version which looked a bit to blue it's hard to get it spot on I may get my monitor calibrated again. Bob
  18. Luminance of 14 x 10 minutes un-binned imaged on 04-02-17 and RGB of 12 x 10 minutes imaged on 18-03-12 Celestron 280 mm scope at F6.3 QHY8 Pro and QHY9m cameras I might try and get some new RGB on this one at some stage. Bob
  19. This image is composed of data from different years Luminance of 13 x 10 minutes imaged on 29-01-17 and RGB of 5 x 10 minutes each imaged on 23-11-14 and Ha of 15 x 10 minutes imaged on 27-02-13 all un-binned scope Celestron 280 mm at F 6.3 camera QHY9m. Bob
  20. This is a small FOV image taken with my Celestron 280 mm scope at F 6.3 I have taken a wider FOV in the past which I think is more suitable for this target but here it is anyway Luminance of 11 x 10 minutes imaged on 25-01-17 and RGB of 14 x 7 minutes from 16-02-12 QHY8 Pro and QHY9 m cameras more data would have helped I may go for some more at some stage. Bob
  21. A reflection nebula and other bit's in there also Luminance of 19 x 10 minutes un-binned imaged on 27/28-12-16 and RGB of 5 x 5 minutes each binned 2 x 2 imaged on 28-12-16 scope Celestron 280 mm at F 6.3 and QHY9m camera. Bob
  22. I thought I would have a quick go at this target it is one of the most massive objects in the known universe containing thousands of galaxies elliptical and spiral imaged over two nights 27/28-12-16 Luminance of 9 x 10 minutes un-binned and RGB of 5 x 5 minutes each binned 2 x 2 Celestron 280 mm scope and QHY9m camera a lot more data needed on this one. Bob
  23. Thanks for looking at the image and comments. Bob
  24. Luminance of 20 x 10 + 12 x 15 minutes un-binned imaged over four nights 23/25/28-11-16 and RGB of 5 x 5 minutes each binned 2 x 2 from 25-11-16 and Ha of 9 x 15 minutes un-binned from 21-12-16 scope Celestron 280 mm at F 6.3 and camera QHY9m. Bob
