Made a dob base for my 12" f4 yesterday. Just need to fit the bearing surfaces and the finish and I can finally use the thing!

Saw the Heart and Soul nebulas naked eye tonight! :)

16 days off work, surely I must get one clear night in that time??

Its my birthday, the skies are clear and I've got my new scope to put through its paces...happy days!! :)

Just been told my new scope will be shipped on the 29th...think this will be the longest 2 weeks wait of my life!!

Finally seen the moon through my 200P dob! I need to start hunting DSO's!

last couple of days have been home...on wed. could not lift left arm exept at the elbow and this is very fustrating because I can't lift anything. doc say's it is (shoulder cap)probably a bruised tendon or maybe even torn.have to wait till 17 oct to get appointment at orthopedist ...on drugs ....:(...for the pain .The last two nights were clear skies and I was nerves wreak cause I couldn't get my scope out!! hopefully soon!!

Is giving up this weekend.....it's the Le Mans 24 hr race, woop woop!!
