    The old PSP site was ok-ish but quarry lights, glow off Buxton and a lot of aircraft (Manchester airport)...Freff who organises SWSP knows of some excellent sites. Pencelli is a good site but has tall trees around the hook up points...no cafe..plus points are a big field. Freff also has mentioned forests fields in previous meetings

    You should book the Galloway star party in November, but be quick there's only a couple of spaces left...the Dob mob will be there..

    Fantastic report....we had a blast at Galloway and by heck it was chilly but not to deter the mob...blade and pearl galaxy at the end of virgo was always pleasing but the transparency wasn't brilliant..still got a hat full of faint stuff including the antennas

    Mate bought the one from widescreen...it leaks. Motorbike covers are ok for a few months but tbh...a cheap tarp from B&Q beats everything.
