I gave up with my Xbox wireless controller, the dongle was less than 4' away, with a short usb lead plugged straight into its own usb socket on the back of the pc, kept dropping out, it was new of Amazon....not tried a wired one use the guide scope phd screen and a telrad now plus eqmod, and Atik CCD screen for aligning....

  4. I have 10 tubes in the workshop, 1 doesn't work the others are ok but not instant, there 15 years old on the same tubes, it's getting close to replacement time,

  6. While its a bit late since you have poured the concrete, 4 pieces of studding attached to a piece of plywood then inserted in the concrete would save the chemical anchors, the studding spaced to fit the base of your pier, nuts and washers would them allow adjustment to get the pier upright....

  8. Does the Field Flattener require a precise distance to the CCD Sensor...???, the large blob as said is a out of focus star, the out of focus distance won't be huge.
  9. As Zak says, my Power adapters just work one does a 20 metre run no problems, the WiFi router does need the odd reboot though.....

  16. if the power is getting to the mount without it dropping out then the cheapest next option is change the handset to mount lead, there cheap and you can get one the length that suits you........

  19. I did pop some in the oven, they came out stuck together, make sure the oven isn't to hot, there some that can go in a microwave not sure if there a special type though.....

  22. Yes, the 3.5 is a bit short, the 5mm get very little use, but the others i'm happy with, just some 2" barrel Naglars to work towards next year....
  23. They stopped making the 40mm some time back i managed the 30mm but the money for a 40mm took to long to come by....
