  2. The second release candidate to version 0.17.0 has been published today. Please test it. Links: https://launchpad.net/stellarium/trunk/0.90.0
  3. OK, I'll add this option in Navigational Stars plugin. It will be available for testing since version 0.17.0RC2.
  4. Wait! Are you meant enable visibility to the markers for navigational stars at the startup of planetarium? If answer "yes", then this is impossible because I never added this feature in the plugin. Are you really want it?
  5. Please use plugin's GUI for change it setting (include saving the settings)
  6. The first release candidate to version 0.17.0 has been published today. Please test it. P.S. Esp. for advanced amateurs - Telescope Control plugin support INDI now. Links: https://launchpad.net/stellarium/trunk/0.90.0
  7. I saw the report, but I cannot confirm the problem or refute it because I don't have laptop, so I cannot check it. I've asked my colleague for Stellarium development team to check this report.
  8. Aha! In some combinations of location, type of object, and magnitude limit the list in this tab may be empty. The list "Nebulae" contains items with undefined type of nebula. The list has 3 items only (based on tandard edition of DSO catalog).
  9. Our website (stellarium.org) has been migrated on other hosting yesterday and some settings on new place caused troubles in first half of today. It's possible that Stellarium got wrong answers from stellarium.org and crash when he requested to update of some catalogues. Our website (stellarium.org) has been migrated on other hosting yesterday and some settings on new place caused troubles in first half of today. It's possible that Stellarium got wrong answers from stellarium.org and crash when he requested to update of some catalogues. For example I didn't see any problems, what may confirm or decline this hypothesis in Dave's logs.
  10. Sorry, I'm confused. WUT doesn't have separate lists for emission and reflection nebulae - so, are you meant WUT really or other tool in AstroCalc?
  11. Maybe yes, maybe no. I never seen logs after the crash and I cannot say about source of crash. Sorry, no. I hope users may read the text.
  12. About names: Stellarium obtain names for celestial objects from various sources and list of all sources is not available for end-users via GUI (Reference manager not implemented yet).
  13. Who has crashes of Stellarium: please show log.txt (Start -> Programs -> Stellarium -> Last run log) after crash. One question also: you are having enabled firewall?
  14. By default Stellarium get time format from locale, so, if you want to use 24 hour format of time, please set it clearly in Stellarium (F2 -> Navigation).
  15. Please help us test the version 0.90.0.9954 of Stellarium (especially the nomenclature and AstroCalc features).
  16. No exist the right form for constellations lines, but in this case seems your are right - I'll fix it. Thanks!
  17. Stellarium version 0.90.0.9852 is available for testing since today. This version has one big incorporated feature - support for nomenclature of planetary features. Please help us test this new feature. Download page: https://launchpad.net/stellarium/trunk/0.90.0/+index
  18. Just try press Shift button and click left button of mouse on the sky. Some details available in Help window (F1). P.S. We might add scripting method for add/remove custom objects by galactic coordinates.
  19. I have a workaround for you: you can put an custom "objects" in the place with some galactic coordinates and use them for selection.
  20. You can enable inversion of colors on the screenshots (it's an option within Stellarium) to get printable images.
  21. In the version 0.16.1 this plugin has been updated - maybe it will be interested for you.
