  1. Both sources is right - no exists single "official" lines for constellations. Bright example: constellation lines on IAU and H.A. Ray's constellations.
  2. Hi! Any 32-bit software (for Windows, of course) should work on 64-bit Windows. In common case this software should "eating" less resources than the same 64-bit application. About Stellarium now: official package of version 0.13.0 for Windows x64 is not exists, because it contains serious regress. This regress is related to switching of building packages for Windows x64 onto Visual Studio (same compiler is used for building Win64 Qt5). Now we rewrote problematic code and latest binary snapshots of the Stellarium has x64 packages for Windows too (available at stellarium.org).
  3. WDDM drivers has very limited support of OpenGL (near 1.4 - like in previous century) - you really need drivers from manufacturer. Which laptop?

  5. I believe that you need drivers for graphics card from manufacturer.
  6. Today version 0.13.0 has been released and it includes binary package with software rendering - it give working of Stellarium on old computers, but not very fast. About log.txt location: Start -> Programs -> Stellarium -> log.txt or withing program: F1 -> Log
  7. Stellarium doesn't know ASCOM, but you can use StellariumScope plugin for use ASCOM-devices.
  8. Please try use fallback mode of Stellarium.

  11. Sorry, not for 0.13.0 because MSVC compiler broke few star catalogs and we didn't solved this problem yet.P.S. Official binary packages of Qt for Windows x64 has been built with MSVC.

For this series needed graphics card with OpenGL 2+ support. We propose 0.13.0alpha4 only for testing and NOT FOR DISTRIBUTION. If you find bugs or regress then please tell us about it.
