  1. Today has been released first release candidate of Stellarium 0.13.0. Series 0.13 based on Qt5 technology. For this series needed graphics card with OpenGL 2+ support. We propose 0.13.0RC1 only for testing and NOT FOR DISTRIBUTION. If you find bugs or regress then please tell us about it. New features: Caldwell catalog for nebulae, re-packed star catalogs (Hipparcos and Tycho-2), delta-T manager, star magnitude limit control, localization for Windows installer, updates textures of galaxies and nebulae and various small GUI changes. The release has over 30 closed bugs in the core application and plugins. A huge thanks to our community whose contributions help to make Stellarium better! We updated the configuration file and the Solar System file, so if you have an existing Stellarium installation, it is possible that you need to reset the settings after you install the new version.   6. The Stellarium development team is proud to announce the release of version 0.12.0 of Stellarium. This release brings some interesting new features: - New rendering engine (Now you can see shadows on planets surfaces). - New key-binding engine (Now all key-bindings can be edited). - Improvements to scripting engine. - Improvements to DSO. - Improvements to search tool. - Improved accuracy for archaeo-astronomical events. There have also been a large number of bug fixes and GUI improvements. A huge thanks to all community bug reporters.   15. Stellarium 0.12.0dev5 has been published today for testing by community. You can download installer for Windows (32- and 64-bits) and install the program parallel with version 0.11.x. We need your opinion about some new features, like editable shortcuts and shadows. If you found bug or you have suggestion please report it in our tracker. Main line for this version is new engine for rendering.
