    My first attempt at Jupiter

These photos were taken with my Skywatcher 200p on the EQ5 mount. I used a Nikon D50 DSLR with a shutter speed ot 25 and an aperture of 5.6.. Clearly im doing something wrong as the images are very poor....

    the moon 023

This is my first proper attempt at the moon, I attached my Nikon D50 DSLR to my 200p using the T ring and a Celestron T adaptor barlow. The results are quite pleasing however I now realise what everyone is saying about mount being the most important thing..... I can see an EQ6 mount on the near horizon......also these photos were taken using the manual settings on the DSLR with an ISO of 160 - but I think they could have done with a bit more exposure, combined with less shake..

    My First Moon Photo

I have ordered a T adaptor so that I can attach my Nikon DSLR to my Sky watcher 200p which is now eagerly awaited - However last night, when I finished work at midnight, I got home to see the moon in all its brilliant spendour with Jupiter sitting right next to it. I set up my scope and in my enthusiastic state i put my mobile phone to the eyepiece and this is the result......... I cant wait to take some real photos.....
