Area i'm in seems to be getting worser anti social behaviour cant concentrate on me astronomy thinking putting on for move to less light polluted area

  Thats sad to hear. I was out a month ago in a nature reserve and some local gypsies approached me and sai go back to London. Gosh, cant people just leave others to enjoy themselfs. Parenting is the core blame of this anti social society.

i wonder how nights of the year we actually have a cloud free night? must be a VERY low % :(

  Very very few, thats why i recommend goto for beginners. Sometimes you have only 30mins of clear sky, and a goto can mean the difference of seeing somthing and seeing nothing at all.
