  4. Nytecam nice shots! Your images on here and videos on YouTube always inspire me! I assume these images of eris were taken with your lodestar and your made scope? I'm thinking about getting a small cheapish ccd for using with small refractors st80 and st102. Looking for someone who has done imaging with a similar set up.

  6. Watched this the other night and thought the same. I saw it and thought grate this will explain it all! But was a bit disappointed in the lack of info about how to actually measure the transit of the planet on the desired star. I've got a tracking mount so don't need to build a barn door. Like the idea of just using a camera lens to gather data to measure a transit. But there wasn't enough info Sent from my iPhone using fums

Hi ash, I have a skywatcher eq3 synscan here http://www.firstlightoptics.com/skywatcher-mounts/skywatcher-eq3-pro-synscan-goto.html And I used it with a st102 refractor here http://www.firstlightoptics.com/startravel/skywatcher-startravel-102t-ota.html And a Nikon d3100 here http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00403MA4M And took this image of the Orion Nebula last winter it's far from perfect but I put little effort and got this Have a look on here for a guy Stan26 his images are amazing and he has a similar set up.
