  1. Thank you Trevor. Yes, I used the Astronomik IR742. Angie
  2. Nice image Reggie. That is something I have never tried to capture, but I have/did have some conjunction images some time ago. Angie
  3. Just one image last night before being clouded out after 10 minutes. Celestron 8se, basic EQ5 mount with dual axis drives, ASI 224, IR742, ADC, & 2x barlow. Firecapture, AutoStakkert!3, Registax 6, Photoshop Angie
  4. Nice images Neil despite the cloud. I set up too but was clouded out ten minutes later after one capture! I find it difficult staying awake to image late evening/early morning, much prefer going to bed then getting up at silly o'clock! Angie
  5. Great images Reggie, nice banding on Saturn. I actually spotted Jupiter last night but I blinked and it was gone! 🙂 Angie
  6. Thanks everyone for the comments and likes, much appreciated. Thank you Simon. The seeing wasn't great that's why I tried 742 filter, but it didn't seem to make much difference. Thanks Neil. Yes the first image turned out to be the best of the evening. Well done on getting your second jab, I had mine early April. My eldest daughter has a needle phobia too and has been known to pass out!! I just tend to close my eyes and turn my head away! Thank you Pete. Hope you are soon up and imaging again. Angie
  7. Nice widefield images. I used to take a widefield image at the beginning of every session, but rarely do it these days. Angie
  8. Nice image, it came out well despite the conditions. Angie
  9. Four images from the 28th/29th, 2 colour and 2 IR. 2305ut 2330ut 2346ut 0017ut Celestron 8se, basic EQ5 mount with dual axis drives, ASI 224, ADC, & 2x barlow, IR pass 742. Firecapture, AutoStakkert!3, Registax 6, Photoshop Angie
  10. Nice images Simon, especially Saturn. I have given up on Saturn because each time I tried to image I got clouded out! Angie
  11. Great captures, and, as said by others, lovely detail showing. Angie
  12. Lovely images. Oval BA is showing nicely in the top image, and I like the position of the moons in the wider field view. Angie
  13. Excellent shot. I like the way the planet shows through the rings, not something I have seen in images very often. Angie
  14. Very nice shots with lots of detail on Jupiter. Angie
  15. Nice image, I like the wider view too. Angie
  16. Many thanks Neil, Pete & Peter. Yes Neil, I noticed the finer detail in the first one, maybe I did hit focus after all. Angie
  17. These are the kind of images that we would all love to capture! Angie
  18. Really nice detailed image Neil. Same here last night, it just wasn't worth the effort. Angie
  19. Nice images. Lots of detail showing on Jupiter. Angie
  20. Thanks Reggie. I had looked at the two images for so long that I wasn't completely sure if there were changes or not! Angie
  21. I set up last night in the hope of catching at least part of the transit of Europa, Ganymede and their shadows but clouds stopped play once again. It did clear later on so I managed to capture the GRS. The seeing wasn't very good and I had trouble finding best focus so I was pleased with what AS!3 produced after stacking. The last time I imaged Jupiter before the cloud set in was 22-07-21, so here are the two images maybe showing some subtle changes around the GRS? 22-08-21_2304ut 22-07-21_0227ut Celestron 8se, basic EQ5 mount with dual axis drives, ASI 224, ADC, & 2x barlow. Firecapture, AutoStakkert!3, Registax 6, Photoshop Angie
