I had a go last night as transparency was quite good. For about 30 minutes I was nudging the telescope, changing eyepieces, finding starts at the limit of my telescope.
But I cannot say I have seem something obvious.
Perhaps if I had a star chart down to magnitude 15 I would be convinced that I have seem something that was actually there, and not a star at the limit of my telescope popping in and out.

I read a news item (I have no idea how true it may be)that power distribution could be at risk in certain areas of the UK due to staff sickness/self isolation.
Make sure your portable power supplies are fully charged, there may be a dramatic improvement in sky darkness, albeit for unfortunate reasons.
Hi, that is just not true. Just a sensationalist newspaper article.

Crazy how small Mercury's disc actually is compared to the earth's disc.

can you see it crossing the skies over the UK?

Nexstar 5SE, a Canon 1100D, unguided no-Darks no-Flats LOL, 25 seconds exposure @ ISO 6400 13.07.2013 2:06.
All beauty of my first picture is in my heart. It means a lot to me. I was in Wales enjoying the summer, nice warm nights. I had my DSLR with me and I decided to give a try. When that greenish blob (M27) appeared in the live-view I felt a great sense of achievement. I felt like a new window of opportunities opened to me. Next night I was there again, this time, trying to take pictures as I read here on SGL and S@N.(M57 and M13)

Hi Mick,
Thanks for sharing.
A quick question....
Do you think I am able to do it with my Nexstar 102mm?
Do you have the 0-100 list as well for download?
Thank you

Hi,
I purchased a binoculars on the 07/05/2012 on the FLO's website. So far it didn't arrive.
It is a pretty bad service after paying £10 of delivery charges.
In the website is written that binoculars delivery charges are up to £5 and a maximum of 5 working days delivery.
Sorry guys but a honest negative feedback is better than a fake positive one for the business.
Kind regards.
