I've had a quick scan of the thread and I didnt see this question asked/answered, so apologies if i missed it but; Does anyone know if the signal to/from the mount is 12V or 5V. I'm planning on making a EQ Bluetooth adapter from a HC-06 module i have lying around. I'm going to run a voltage reg off the 12v from the mount but i dont know if i need to level shift the tx/rx pins. My module is 5v tolerant on those pins or at least it seems to be since it works fine with my Arduinos. If the mount is sending 12v out then i'd need to level shift it down, which is easy enough.
