  1. Yes I talked to them, but their amount is unaffordable at now for me. How to identify it at home?
  2. No @AKB, this is not a slag. This is not glassy, this is rocky. Even we have a slag and this is completely different.
  3. Hello, I have a Rock, I found just months ago. It looks strange to me, and I don't know what it is. Here are some information about it. It isn't magnetic. But is attracted when hanged on a string. Has a crust and interior colour is change from out. The density is 2.6 g/cm^3. Less dense than iron. These are some pics. Does anyone know is this a meteorite? Hoping for responses! Nikolai.
  4. Thanks @Captain Scarlet for your advice. Very helpful!!
  5. Was the 130p good? Because I have a Starquest 130p, haven't used long yet. Need to know just how it is. For what it is good for? Hoping for a response😁 Nikolai.
  6. @AstroNebulee I really love half lit moons than full 😁. Because it gives a greater view than what is often photographed. Her my first light ever. Not crispy, 😁 first pic with my first scope SW Starquest 130p! Took in the morning in daylight.
  7. Thanks @vlaiv I will try it and let you know the results.
  8. Hi everyone! We got a Sky-watcher Starquest 130p 3 months ago and was able to see Saturn and Jupiter only a few times. We have a tab camera and just need to take pics of them, not for professional astrophotography. With the naked eye, views were great! But when photographing, the pics are bad. I've attached some photos I took. How can I improve the pictures? Any idea? Hoping for responses! Nikolai

    Hello

@Damon B Hello Damon!! Hope you'll enjoy this. I think your scope is really good for beginning. We also have a 130mm, Sky-watcher Starquest 130p, and it's really great and quite powerful. You can see great views of stars, the moon, planets and many others. Best luck! Hope you'll enjoy with your grandkids! Nikolai
  10. Hi, welcome!! This is a great place to be and is very friendly and helpful! Your skies are great! And even your Telescope too! Hope you'll enjoy this!
  11. Is there anything to hold a tab? We have a SW Starquest 130p and a 10" tab. Can I make something by my own to hold it? Will the tab be more heavier!? 🤔 Hoping for a response! Nikolai.
  12. Nice picture!! I also got like that by holding the phone to the eyepiece. Great!
  13. Yes Yes! It is Jupiter. Not 5 moons, I saw over 80 moons!!😅
  14. Very rare for us here. Gampaha, Sri Lanka.
  15. Hi everyone, Time 23:26 Just a moment ago my mother saw and showed us a strange thing around the Moon. A complete circle, seen like clouds, around the Moon! I was thinking is this an illusion?? But no, it isn't an Illusion. It is a 100% complete 360° circle around the Moon which is clearly visible. Wondering what it could be?? Really for the first time I've ever seen. The problem is, those can be clouds, but how can it be a complete circle??how? I've attached pictures of that. More clearer from the eyes than in the pics. Have anyone seen such a thing? Hoping for replies!! Nikolai.
  16. Hi Ben, Hope this will be a great place for you. I also have a 130mm (130mm/127mm mostly same), a SW Starquest 130p. We're enjoying it, great views for our satisfaction. Hope you'll too enjoy your scope.
  17. Taken with the 5 pixel tablet camera that we have. The photo may look blurry but did what I can. The moon is westward in the photo here in the evening. This was when we went for the beach end of last month. Camera- Huawei Media pad T3 10 camera (5 pixel). Thanks! Nikolai
  18. We got the Telescope on 1st of September. In August we had CRYSTAL CLEAR SKIES!! I was really thinking 'We can have good skies when we get it!'. But, Oh my! Rain started on 29th August. Didn't think will go this much big! Believe me, only 4 to 5 times we saw the moon! But, STILL NOT A CLEAR SKY!!! NO VIEWS!!! Hoping for clear skies! Nikolai
