  1. anyway, I just looked at the reviews and someone said "It was advertised as, universal, it does not work with my camera. My lense extends when the camera is turned on, it bumps the scope and closes back up. There is not enough room for adjustment. I want to send it back but haven't located my receipt. It is a great concept and am anxious to find one that will work." my camera's lens also extends so it might be the same case for me. it is a little below 600g
  2. this adaptor is for a phone though, i need one for a digital camera.
  3. Hello Michael, I'm sorry for the confusion but aren't T-rings for attaching cameras to telescopes, or is it that i cannot remove the lens from the camera, in that case, what kind of adapters should I look for? Thank you Luka
  4. Took longer than expected. I measured the camera lens (first picture -my hand with the rules was shaking so thats why it might be a bit off) and as some of you said, the thread is at 58mm. (seen on the second picture). So this should mean that all 58mm T-rings should go with my camera right? Keep in mind im very new to theese rings and cameras
  5. Hello, thank you for all the replies, I'm new to astrophotography and theese T-rings. I will post a picture of the camera and measure the zoom lens as soon as i get home. It'll take about an hour and a half The hole where you put eyepieces in (i forgot how its called) for my telescope is 2 inches but i also have a 2"--->1.25" adapter, forgot to say that in my initial post
  6. Hello, i have recently found a 16 year-old sony camera that my family had. It is the DSC-H5 model. I have been trying to find a T-ring adapter for it to connect to my 12" dob but couldn't find one. If you have any experience dealing with such sony cyber-shot cameras let me know. Any help is appreciated 👍
  7. Actually i might just be able to align the primary mirror with the washers there, still kinda scary though
  8. Really looks like its going to be a hard one, there no chance for me to align the scope with the golden washers out of the hole right? Thank you for the reply though. Cheers!
  9. Hello, many of you probably know me from the previous post i made, but now theres a dofferent problem, golden washers on the adjustment screws of the 12" dob came out of the hole, is there any way there is to fix it? Thanks, Luka
  10. I actually tried thoose clips alredy, they were very tight when they came from the factory so i just untighten them a little bit cause i had a feeling it was too much
  11. Oh thats actually a reasonable fix, ill definitely try that out.
  12. Hello, i recently got a 12" GSO dobsonian, i know how to collimate it but im not sure about why almost every time i rotate it, it needs collimation again? Am i missing some collimation tightening screws? Thank you for any advice!
