  1. Greetings Everyone, I am trying to figure out if my gain is normal for my guide camera, the 174mm Mini. I have a 220 and a 120, both that I can use with my 250mm WO Guide telescope, Celestron Off Axis Guider and the ZWO 50mm Guide telescope with Gain ranges of under 100 and intervals of under two seconds and I can capture plenty of stars. With the 174, using a ASIAir I am forced to use gains of over 200 on the scopes and upward of 3 second intervals to see any stars. With my Celestron Off Access Guider in combination with the 174, my gain must be set to max of 400 and I still cannot see stars until I refresh at 3 or 4 seconds. Is anyone else experiencing the same? I tried opening a ticket with ZWO and even tried getting a RMA but they are the worlds worst at customer support.
  2. I need some help. the first thing I tried on Astroberry was a sudo apt-get update and upgrade and receive the following error: astroberry@astroberry:~ $ sudo apt-get upgrade Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done Calculating upgrade... Done The following packages have been kept back: indi-astroberry-diy indi-bin indi-toupbase libindi-dev libindi1 0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 6 not upgraded. Okay, Running sudo apt-get install distro upgrade corrected most of the problem, still have one package not upgrading so instead of fighting this mess, I am doing a new image. I guess this is mostly solved..😂
