  1. Hi! I’ve often made posts on this forum asking for help, and each time I have been met with great kindness. I’m still new to this hobby and am finding my way around the night sky, so sometimes I need help with naming the stars, planets, clusters etc that I have captured. Anyway, I was able to capture these two images tonight with my Iphone 13 pro, and after messing around with the settings existing on the phone, I was amazed with the images. I was wondering if someone would be kind enough to tell me if I have captured anything particularly interesting, or just anything really. I’ve attached the before and after to both photos, and the difference editing makes is astonishing. Thank you so much for your help! Picture 1: Before: After: Picture 2: Before After: TLDR: Please could someone label these pictures for me? It would be greatly appreciated.
  2. Hi! I’m still very much new to this hobby and have been experimenting taking photos with my phone. Last night was pretty cloudless compared to how it’s been recently, so i decided to try and take some images. Did i capture the big dipper to the right of this picture, or did i manage to capture anything else? I tried to use apps like skyview etc but i couldn’t get my wifi to work - so i’m sorry for asking a lot of questions
  3. I just took this photo with my Iphone 13 pro - i know it’s not that great but it’s my first time experimenting with the camera and there was a lot of light pollution around me. However, I was wondering if I captured anything cool like clusters etc? I’m a complete beginner so I’m really not sure what I should be looking for Thank you so much - please be kind
  4. Hi! I’ve just purchased the skywatcher explorer 130M and am looking to buy my first ever dslr (yay!) I’m currently looking into Canon EOS 4000D and was wondering if anyone could help me figure out if it would be adequate for astrophotography, as i’ve never really delved into the world of cameras and their specs etc If it’s not good, please could you recommend me some other budget friendly alternatives? Thank you!

  8. Hi! I’m sorry if this is a silly question, but could anyone please tell me whether it’s possible to connect this barlow lens (Achromatic 3X Barlow Lens Pro Slokey SkyWays - Superior Optical Quality with FMC and Anti-Reflective Treated Lens for a Sharp, Crisp, Clear Image - Super Light, Compact and Durable (1.25") https://amzn.eu/d/g493V99) to this camera (Svbony SV105 Telescope Camera 1.25 inches, 2MP USB2.0 CMOS Digital Astronomy Camera, Electronic Eyepiece for Beginners Planetary Lunar https://amzn.eu/d/d3gmnK3) or any other 1.25” eyepiece without the assistance of an adapter? Thank you so much for your help [edited to change the links, hopefully they work now]
