ISS solar transit ☀️🛰️ First try with DSLR canon 600d into my Dobsonian 8 and I'm really pleased with the result despite the fact that the weather and seeing wasn't the best possible Photo is a result of 41 combined frames from the video you see Second photo is some settings from the transit Dobsonian 8" Canon 600d Baader solar filter 1/2500 iso 400 Ioannina Greece 19/2/2023 VID_253311116_065323_759.mp4
  5. Finally we had good weather in my town Ioannina Greece and I took the opportunity to shoot these three planets Venus was quite low in the sky but pretty impressive as it is 92% illuminated Jupiter with great red spot is always a nice target even if it's not closer to us as it is in summer Finally Mars getting farther and farther but some nice details still visible Venus: gain 100 exposure 799us Jupiter: gain 200 exposure 3500us Mars: gain 200 exposure 3000us Dobsonian 8" Svbony Barlow 3x Asi224mc UV IR cut filter Processing in PIPP Autostakkert Registax and Astrosurface
  6. First good try to capture Chinese space station Tiangong with my Dobsonian 8 and asi224mc This target is pretty hard and also I have to play more with settings to find the best combination of gain and exposure to be able to see the solar panels of the station. First I tried to focus on Jupiter but seeing wasn't great so I turn my hopes to moon so I tried to focus there. 18:20 local time and with max altitude of 81° was a nice chance Gain 220 exposure 1000us Dobsonian 8 Asi224mc UV IR cut filter Svbony Barlow 3x Stack 6 frames in Autostakkert and processing in Astrosurface for brightness and sharpness
