  1. I have a pair of Leica 10x42 Geovid. Great binoculars but not the best for looking at the night sky.
  2. You guys are amazing. I’ll search Amazon and get some T rated fuses ordered. Fingers crossed this is the problem. Once they arrive I’ll test it all and report back. Oh……thank you all very much.
  3. I’ve just tried this 12v air compressor in the battery pack and it worked fine.
  4. The battery pack output is 12.4v, I’ve tested it.
  5. I am using the same lead when running it on mains power and plugged into the same socket on the mount.
  6. What baffles me is that it’s a Skywatcher power pack and a Skywatcher mount. Surely they should be compatible right?
  7. Just checked the continuity, all is good. The lead is now plugged into the power pack and it’s staying ‘on’ as in powered.
  8. So I’m guessing the 10amp output was too much. I always thought that the mount would only draw the amount of amps that it needed though. Or am I completely wrong?
  9. Thank you, I do have a multimeter. The fuse blew as soon as I turned the power pack on. The fuse that blew was 5amp
  10. Hi, I use a HEQ5 Pro powered from the mains and it works perfectly but when I try to power it from my Skywatcher power pack cigar lighter socket it blows the fuse in the lead. It works ok via the USB port but not from the 12v cigar socket. Any ideas how to get this to work? The output on the cigar socket is 12v 10amp. Regards Gray
