  1. Hi! Since I'm relatively new in imaging, I would like to receive some advices or feedbacks about what could be changed in this SHO Eagle Nebula. The exposure time is only 1 hour, obtained through Telescope Live with a Planewave CDK24 and imaged with a FLI ProLine PL9000. I am using only 1 hour exposure as this is only an exercise for me, I'm trying new process and watching new tutorials while doing Here is the workflow I followed: Linear phase: -Linear fit (reference Halpha) -Channel combination (SHO) -Background neutralization -DBE -Color Calibration -Multiscale Linear Transform (denoise on 5 layers) -Histogram Transformation Non linear phase: -Luminance extraction -Range selection on luminance (selected brightest parts) -Local Histogram Equalization on main image masked with the range selection explained above -SCNR (amount 0.80) -Correct magenta star script -Original luminance used as a mask on main image --> curves transformation (contrast, saturation) Photoshop: -From 32bit to 16bit -Curves (more contrast) -Vividness -saturation adjustments -Dehaze -More brightness to stars -Crop What do you think? Any advice you would like to give me, or any error do you see in my workflow or in my "final" image? Thank you in advance, clear skies to everyone!

  3. Thank you so much for precious advices, I'm currently making some experiments with the camera in daytime to better understand all the technical features of it. The compression of the camera is what gives me more thought, but using only 5 or 10% of best frames in PIPP+AutoStakkert I would be able to discard frames which introduces artifacts, right?
  4. Hi to everyone! Will make my first lunar imaging session in some days, I never done an imaging session by myself. I know general rules for deep sky as I use remote imaging for that, but for lunar/solar disc I don't know basically anything except that you have to record a video and the basical workflow needed. So when you capture the entire lunar disc how many frames do you use minimum? There is a maximum? If you know some nice tutorial which explain general rules I would be very happy to read it. My "setup" is: Telescope: Bresser Pollux 150/750 Sensor: Svbony SV105 No tracking (the main reason for this questions) Thank you so much for your time

I'm a space enthusiast who started his journey with imaging a few months ago, for now with remote imaging making only post-processing, but have just bought a super basic webcam to start lunar/solar/planetary imaging by myself with a Bresser 150/750. Here to improve my techniques, learn new things and have some feedbacks! Have a nice day everyone
