- Best Regards fellow fans. I want to tell you about something that has me worried and I need to turn to the advice of wise.
- I bought an AZEQ6 Pro less than 1 month ago with all the enthusiasm in the world to improve my astrophotography and since it arrived home a nightmare began. The fact is that as soon as I mounted it I realized that it had a "cricket" in the AR movement, a cyclical noise of something rubbing and that was not normal.
- In addition, , just after aligning with the 3 star method, I get the proper "Alignment Correct" message... but right after hitting ENTER I get the "Caution L7" message which I don't know what it means. Using the 1 star alignment method, right after the above and resetting the mount, gives the message "Caution and some weird symbols". With all types of alignment, it gives warning messages: with the 3-star one, "Caution L7" always appears, and with the others, "Caution and random rare symbols"just after aligning with the 3-star method, it gives me the message "Align Sucessful" .... but right after it gives me the message "Caution L7" that I don't know what it means.
- I sent everything to the Technical Service indicating the incidents and after 10 days the fixed mount returned to me. From the technical service they tell me that: "It had a slight mismatch that they have been able to solve without a problem" and that the mount works correctly. Yesterday I tried it (without a telescope because I have it in town) making a fictitious alignment and indeed the noise in AR does not sound and they have even removed a small slack that it had in the same axis (although I did not like having to send it, good job of the technical support) but message from "Caution L7" keeps coming up right after "Align Successful"
- Does anyone else get this message or know what it means? The version of Synscan is V5 04.39.19
- Sorry for the rambling, but it is to explain what is happening.... I am very upset with all this after the outlay made.
Regards and thank you very much for your valuable time.
