AstroAdam, nice to hear about it. By the way, I have visited your web-site and figured out that I had read your review about the scope. Thanks for the review and it helped me a lot in my decision "buy or not to buy"

Me too... helped my decision in choosing my new scope!

This is probably my 4th picture of my case on this thread, Moved on my SW Nirvanas and WO SPL's keeping only my WO zoom then adding the 3 ES 100 degree EPs
My 3rd picture was going to be my final*** case layout but this is it this time.....
*** With my current scope anyway, and I've NO plans to change it

Mark,
The wheels are only for taking the scope from the garage to the garden - about 20 feet on slabs.
If I'm out at a dark site - usually rough, sloping etc - its built up where I need it so its only the levelling part that is required.

Emad,
Got the feet off Ebay, M10 levelling feet, after a few experiments I changed the m10 thread to m12 threaded rod welded on to the foot, this was attached by welding a m12 nut onto a piece of flat bar. A m12 knurled knob was screwed on locked in place by a locknut. The rubber swivelling castor was bolted onto the flat bar then the complete unit was screwed onto the wooden base (x3)
Hope this helps

Here it is.
My DIY case (with an old dot printer head case and high density foam) containing my 6, 10, 12, 20 and 25 plus a Barlow 2x and the diagonal and two filters.
The compass is just for decoration porpuses so, there's some space to be filled with something interesting for the future!
Nice and neat job, looks good

This will be my 3rd different EP case pic on this post, I got a few additions recently for my collection which weren't going to fit in my original case, luckily Maplins decided to discount the larger case at just the right time
This will be it now, I misjudged when I cut my original collection of EPs down to the 3 SW Nirvanas, It left a few gaps that I felt I wouldn't use. In reality, there were times I missed "teasing out" that little bit more detail in my views.

It takes me all my time to use 4
I've had a few sessions when I've had the same EP in all night

Alan, is that a 1.25" or a 2" hip flask, and is it threaded for filters?

It's a shame you have to sell your scope....
Why not get some binoculars, so you've got something for when you have the urge to observe again?
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ This. You may find you get more use out of binoculars as there is no set up, cool down times, just straight out and looking up

Looks great Lorne, some great performance to price ratio eyepieces in there! I need to update things again with my current setup. Who knew it would change so fast
Thanks Adz, I bought the BSTs a few weeks ago from recommendations on here but due to lighter nights, **** weather and my shifts at work I havent had a decent chance to use them properly in anger..... bring on the dark nights LOL

Here's mine, no room for expansion, unless its a couple of filters

From what Ive seen, no question is too trivial, all I need now is my 1 month/50 posts to see what I can upgrade to in the Buy/ Sell section!!
