  1. Mine is a CGX had it for almost a year, works flawlessly, last polar alignment was months ago and go to, the object is still in the field of view.

  4. A full solar image taken Feb 14th. Orange Tube C8 with reducer, ZWO ASI294MC Pro, Capture Area=4144x2822, Colour Space=RGB24, Gain=231 Exposure=0.2320ms FrameCount=1000 Captured in SharpCap , processed in RegiStax Best 100 frame stack.

  7. Back focus distance when not using a focal reducer.? Back from where? with out to reducer there is no back focus distance.
  8. Hi every one from southern Quebec Canada. I've been back into astronomy now for the last 4 years , Bought a C8, it's now on a permanent mount with the Celestron CGX. I'm just getting into astrophotography. I have had some success but now with the cgx I'm hoping for much better success in the future. I'm looking forward to Future conversations with members of the lounge
