Hey cajen2. I got a Skywatcher Evostar 90/900 which came as a bundle with an EQ3-2 mount and ally tripod, and a Celestron C5 SCT with the Celestron version of the AZ3… Exactly the same but with a Celestron badge on it. Got the C5 as the Evostar is a little bulky, especially with the EQ3 and I wanted something small and light to travel with. Still learning the basics at the mo and want to get used to visual before I step up to taking images. Never had a hobby that genuinely blows my mind. Hoping for more clear skies.

Hi everyone. Just got into astronomy very recently and looking forward to the journey. Took the plunge and got some entry level gear to get used to the basics, so hope to share some stuff and contribute in due course.
