  1. glad it worked for you I am still having set up issues so the washers are not glued down yet but the setting up is all me !!!
  2. I have a nexstar se4 NexStar 4SE Computerized Telescope (item #11049) / NexStar SE Computerized Telescopes / Telescopes / Products / Celestron.com small enough to carry around and setup but was gift for my birthday so don't know the price sorry
  3. not too sure if this would work, but you could super glue metal washers down on the patio least if ya get it wrong youn could adjust after not like a drill hole ? long as the tripod leg fits snug ??
  4. cracking image could you tell me how and with what kit setup, you did this as I have the se4, but can not get anywhere near as good as your pic, mind you i an't got a lot of "bits" for the scope to play with yet lol
  5. newbie alert!! Not been looking with a telescope for too long. I have Only got a little nexstar se4 and put my DSLR on the back end of it. I do have a phillips web cam but have not had much luck with it. I only have one eyepiece a 25mm and no barlow My lap top is on its last legs battery wise so using outside is a no no so looks like i'm going to have to spend some dosh sooner or later lol.

Yup jumping for joy first view of Saturn and first picture 27.02.11 @ 01:03 with spc900nc ( still playing with scope and ccd lol) Well I know the picture is poo compaired with others on here but seeing I did not know what i was doing I'm happy with it. I also think it was stretching the scope a bit ? nexstar 4se can not wait to use the web cam on the moon.

Thank you airprox I think i was getting mixed up because i had looked at that web page before lol the philips cam from morgan are being recognised as a pcvc740k but mine is now saying it is a 900NC I gave up for a while and went out side, but the temp has dropped and the clouds have come in so came back in side and converted the web cam, so that should have put a stop to any clear skies for a while now even thou the met states its going to be clear at the weekend ! so you can all blame me

Hello I'm having a thick moment it seams !!! got the cam in the post I have an XP machine and got the instructions from the first page all well so far, but it says google the 900NC.bin file can someone point me in the right directioon as I have not been ablr to find it and I want to play with my new cam and its clear out side so far as well cheers in advance

Well finally got my T mount so got to play with my DLSR ( pentax k20D lovley clear skies earlier on but a bit cloudy now loads of pictures a quick crop edit and I got this, well chuffed with it I hope everyone else had clear skies like I have had, its been a while coming, so lets hope for many more.
  18. Are these the same ones as they seam a bit on the cheap side ( but then I know nothing, but give me time !!!) found this on ebay Philips SPC900NC webcam on eBay (end time 04-Mar-11 21:40:42 GMT) I know it states spnc900nc is there a difference ? be gentle very noob
  19. ok i have been looking about and found this web site ( i have never used them but loads of stuff) Castors | Nylon | Cast Iron | Polyurethane Tyre | High Temperature | I like the idea of a roller more than a wheel, has anybody tried some thing like this ?
  20. what WB metering did you use ? (spot?) BTW cracking camera I have two of them and cracking picture. I havn't got my k20d hooked up yet as don't have the T mount yet ! should be in the post or so I am told !
  21. Had a quick look before I have to go out why is it always clear skies when i have to go out ??? hand held little compact in the eye piece still waiting for camera adaptor from rother !!! phoned them today !!! in the post but have heard that 3 times now !!!
