  1. Moving away a little as well, has anybody got experience with zoom eyepieces I've saw them just the question is would they work on this?
  2. I think even as a test image that we know of it looks really really cool. The fact that it's going to be even better as well is even cooler.
  3. I would place my guesses on Jupiter, I might be wrong but again we do make mistakes. Only reason I say that is it definitely has the right if not really close colour to Jupiter and I might be wrong but that looks like a band on it. I would say 60% Jupiter. I said Jupiter too much didn't I? 😂
  4. Hello, So I just bought a Sky Watcher Heritage 76mm, I know quite small but fitted my current space well and what not. But anyway does anyone have any good eyepiece recommendations for this telescope so that I can get the most out of it? I know it's not of course going to be Hubble quality because of the nature of the scope being tiny and inexpensive but just any good eyepiece recommendations to as I said make the most of such a cool little telescope. thanks, Andrew.
  5. Thanks for the review, I actually did buy one however mainly just to do some chill observing for when I am bored and at the moment I'm kind of limited to space so it should fit nicely on my desk lol. 😂 But stull thanks again for the review I'll be sure not to get my hopes up.
  6. Hey there guys, I would really like to thank you all for your recommendations and suggestions on all of this and will definitely be taking all this advice on board and hopefully producing some good photos some day. Thanks again for the help. 😃 Andrew.

    Hello there

Hey there guys, Andrew here, thought I'd just pop in tell you a bit about myself etc, Quite a chill person which is why I love astronomy as its a quiet and chilled out thing to do. I'm 16 years of age and hope to improve on everything in astronomy which is why I joined the fourm. I am from Scotland so quite cool. I accidently made a Star Wars reference in my title I am sorry. 😁😄 Love networking, pcs, astronomy and chemistry. A lot of different things not related that much but you know. I like meeting people who are like me that just want to chill and get on with life calmly with nothing to worry about. Hope to post quite a bit in here and just get away from computer games and focus on astronomy If anyone wishes to have a friendly conversation one day or night feel free. Clear skies wherever you are and again apologies for that starwars reference, Andrew.
  8. Hey there guys, My name is Andrew and I've just recently got into looking at astrophotography and I must say it really blows me away. I am currently selling a current telescope that I have and saw a new rig I would like to possibly get, Mainly shown by astrobiscuit. It's got a 72 ed refractor with the eq mount and everything and if I do sell my current setup I'd be able to afford it. Trouble is there is no off axis guider, nor any guide scope mentioned. I'd really love to start astrophotography, with a small, motorised rig that has everything I need, but would I need any guiding? If so could I have some suggestions on any budgety off axis guiders / guide scopes, and guide cameras. If not I'd be looking at using around £1000 GBP, any other setups I could get for that? The rig I was looking at was in the region of £880.50 but I'm going to read his blog and prices again and tally them again to confirm. If I won't require guiding it's even better. 😀 Seriously any help would be appreciated as I am very new to this. Hope everyone has clear skies, Andrew.
