  1. Hello, I manipulated two separate projects found on the internet and managed to make my own automatic focuser project: rotary encoder for fine focusing and two buttons for fast forward and fast reverse. Credit: Two buttons: https://www.progettiarduino.com/71-arduino-stepper-motor-passo-passo-azionato-da-due-pulsanti.html Rotary encoder: https://simple-circuit.com/arduino-stepper-motor-rotary-encoder/ For those interested in the code let me know
  2. Thanks Julian for the advice, I already use a focuser PC controlled, I was looking for one to use manually and the one with the rotatory is better than using the buttons.
  3. Sorry, i forgot to tell my equipment: Arduino Uno or Nano Stepper 28BYJ-48 ULN2003 5V rotary encoder KY-040
  4. Seeking help finding a working code to use a single rotary encoder, and the built-in push button on it cycles between fast and slow modes. I need it to avoid focusing my high magnification C8 without touching the wobbly telescope. I found the suitable code but the button code returns the motor to its home position; i can't find anything else and i don't know arduino programming. Thank you in advance. Vincenzo Rome Italy
