Thanks! You got any plans for yours in the works, or eyepieces perhaps?
Have you seen m13 through the 200p yet? Blows the mind!
Looking to get a 13mm ish ep, maybe a Hyperion.
Not seen M13, my balcony/window faces SSW so maybe in a couple of months.
I'm still buzzing off 'sky scanning' at the mo through 32mm Panaview.
When I get a med/high power ep I'll be on a galaxy mission.
It's warm enough now to observe out of the window (first floor, floor to ceiling windows to open).
I still love my Dob!

Flo are shocking!!!! Whenever you try to call them it always goes straight to ANSWERPHONE, Yes I hear their service is good once they've got your money but until then..would touch them with a barge pole USELESS!!!
That's what I used to think, but now I know their service is excellent. There is a kind of personal touch with them.
When I ordered a new eyepiece the other week, it arrived so quickly (to France) I was gobsmacked.

I ordered a Skywatcher Skyliner 200p + extras from TS. I am in France, so the postage costs would have been huge from a UK supplier.
Any queries were answered promptly by the contact/gaffer, Wolfi.
The TS website was straightforward to navigate and to buy from.
I ordered late Monday afternoon,I recieved an email with the courier details and tracking numbers on Tuesday morning.
UPS delivered today (Thursday). The delivery was tracked with UPS.
All was as it should be upon delivery, well packaged etc.
I WILL BUY FROM TS AGAIN, 5*

The public library is the beginner's most important astronomical tool.

Sorry to be the odd one out:eek:, but I'm awaiting a reply to an email I sent to FLO.
I live in France and want to order some EPs etc, the website says to contact them first.
Does anyone know if it takes long for a reply?

This is by far the best astro forum. I used to visit another one (san) but every time I asked a question, some people used to be really 5h!tt¥ and rude if you havent got a £5k scope.
Nothing but good people and info in SGL

I also own an 8" Dob. It's a fantastic all round 'scope which is great at Planetary observing. Part of the reason I find it good for planets is that I find it easy to track Planets and keep them in the eyepiece.
