brantuk 3,560 Posted March 15, 2011 Thanks for the kind comments folks and sorry I didn't see your messages till now. The legs are adjustable and they were made for me by a friend with welding kit. Unfortunately he no longer has the welder.The "Goto" was added from a Skywatcher AZ GOTO mount that I purchased for £190. The handsets from both scopes were interchangeable, so it left me with a tracking AZ mount and handset to offset the expense.I prefer right angle finders and the one displayed is an Orion 9x50 Correct image version. With the "goto" though it hardly gets used. The shroud was ordered through Harrisons.On a clear night the views of M42 in a 12mm hyperion are awesome at our dark site :) Link to comment
