Photo Information for Messier_45b.jpg

Recommended Comments

One of my favorite wintertimes objects to capture, the Orion Nebula, Messier 42 located in the constellation Orion.

The image was captured using an Explore Scientific 6.5” APO triplet refractor at F/8, a ZWO ASI2600 CMOS color camera, and a Radian Ultra Narrowband filter, at a temperature of -25 Celsius and 139 minutes of exposure time. If you notice to the lower left, Messier 43, the De Mairan’s diffuse Nebula.
