Perseid and Milky Way-DeNoiseAI-low-light

Hawksmoor

Perseid Meteor captured in the early hours of the 12th. Lots of cloud hope early hours of the 13th will be better but not looking good at the moment in Lowestoft. Enjoying my new recycled wide lens.

Nice to hear from you Reggie. Hope you had a great Perseid night.!

Against all forecast predictions, the sky was clear and transparent here in Lowestoft in the early hours of the 13th August. Anita and I sat out on the cliffs at Pakefield from midnight until 02:00am. looking out over the North Sea.  Great display saw upwards of forty meteors but not all Perseids judging from their trajectories. One of which I managed to photograph, it was very bright and green in colour. Several of the meteors left  smoke trails which we could see move and break up as a result of wind shear.

Best regards George
