NASA considers the galaxy Messier 106, a galatic pyrotechnics because of the massive black hole that incites shockwaves through dust, equivalent to a sonic boom with the force of 10 million suns! Messier 106 has a distance of over 7 megaparsecs or 23 milion light years away from Earth.

The image was captured using an Explorer Scientific ED102 mm APO refractor and ZWO ASI533 MC Pro color camera. The exposure involved 50 sub-frames with a combined time of 15.5 minutes. The camera temperature was cooled down to -30.8 Celsius, with a gain of 100.
