Eris 246 Posted October 18, 2020 (edited) Looking over the South pole of the moon toward the lunar polar mountains. I love trying to image these features when the angular conditions are right. Using the C11 for the first time on the Moon I was really pleased with the level of detail considering the only moderate altitude of the Moon at the time. Especially surprised to see some subtle detail on the distant mountains. Celestron C11 with ASI270mm camera, 2.5xPowermate and Baader IR pass (685nm) filter.
