NEOWISE through the window

Hawksmoor

Another NEOWISE but this time taken from our bedroom window. Canon 600d DSLR at f=!8mm and ISO 3200 (cropped). A stack of 6x10 sec lights using the freeware 'Sequator. Works a treat when incorporating static foreground objects. Thanks to Charlotte Daniels' article in the Aug 2020 S@N magazine for bringing this freeware to my attention. Nice thing about this hobby - you can always learn something new.

Four things you might establish from this image:

  • I have much to learn about using Sequator
  • Suffolk County Council kindly turn off the street lights at 11:30 pm
  • Many neighbours do not turn their lights off at 11:30pm
  • No shortage of cloud or wind at the UKs most easterly point.
