Close up image of Gum 53 or NGC 6188 (AKA Fighting Dragons) imaged in natural color.
NGC6188 is an emission nebula located 4,000 light years away in the constellation Ara.
This image was exposed with a cooled and full spectrum modded DSLR, though an 8" SCT at 2000mm focal length.
The total exposure for this photo was 4 hours and 15 minutes.
