Full moon at perigee. Altair Astro 66mm Doublet Refractor with x0.6 field flatener and Canon 600 D DSLR. Stack of the best five still RAW images taken at ISO100 - f=240mm.- 1/2500sec exp. I was trying out my new Baader low profile T mount which I purchased from FLO to sort out a back focus issue - worked a treat . As a bonus the whole set up works nicely as a telephoto lens - the exposures were taken with the camera 'hand held' - no tripod! Worth comparing with the less noisy image of the full moon taken in October 2017.

If you do compare the two images, check out changes in libration, both in latitude and longitude. Very noticeable.
