SteveBz 285 Posted October 19, 2017 This is just a few stacked frames about ten, I think they were 15 seconds each and ISO800. You're right, unguided and before I bought my coma corrector. This one doesn't have flats, but I recall the other one did. I'm putting the final touches to my guider, but the camera is not very sensitive, just a webcam. I'm trying to amplify the signal to make it easier. If I really need to I'll splash out on an ASI120mc, but I'm hoping that my 20 quid webcam will do the job. All the guiding software is written in Python and seems to work, provided you have a bright guide-star. No filters except a SkyWatcher light pollution filter (neodymium, I guess), do you think I should? I do have some, but I'm not sure they help. Thanks for the comment, Steve Link to comment
