My first good crack at M31, taken 22 Sept 2016. The weather conditions were calm following a long period of unsettled weather, though the clouds encroached once again by the end of the session. Even so, I think the seeing must have been very good.
Taken with a Fuji X-T1, 10 x 30s subs at 1600ASA, through an Altair 102mm f/7 Super ED with a TS Photoline 2" 0.79x reducer/flattener. Mounted on a Nexstar 6/8SE Alt-Az mount. RAWs converted to DNG and stacked in DSS, processed in StarTools, and finished in Lightroom.
