We set up the telescope in Cabbagetown Park, Atlanta to share the event with our neighbors. In addition to creating this image, several people took their first ever look through a telescope, witnessing a rare planetary transit of the Sun no less. This was also my first time using the solar filter and observing the Sun through my telescope.
