Messier 82 - Cigar Galaxy
A starburst galaxy about 12 million light-years away in the constellation Ursa Major.
Taken on an evening with a lot of light pollution, wind and cloud. Given the conditions I'm amazed at how well it came out. I only intended to do some auto guiding practice as conditions were so bad, but I decided to have a go at a target anyway. It looks like that practice has paid off.
