Tripod mounted Canon 400D DSLR with EOS lens at 18mm. Stacked and cropped to remove smeared stars due to lens curvature.  Images taken in Hautes Alpes October 2015.  I am quite pleased with the processing on this image. The stars have good colour and the milky way star fields are not too crunchy. Should have written down what I did and in what order!
