Taken at Burrough Hill, Leicestershire, June 2013. This is a stack of 30 sub exposures, some 2 mins, some 3 mins. Stacked in Deep Sky Stacker. Canon 550D, Meade DS2102 refractor, Skywatcher EQ3 Pro Synscan.

Fabulous. I am just starting, and looked at this the other evening before the storm came through. Could see M32 as well, looking forward to trying some photography with DSLR this week. My learning curve is still nearly vertical, but going to give it a go. Going to try a couple different techniques, both a long exposure as well as stacking several shorter exposures. Will be running software in Fedora Astronomy and probably controlling the camera with Darktable (did that once before a couple years ago when I first got the scope, then it was put away for awhile).
