Narrowband

NGC7000 North American Nebula

stevenlouth

From Burrough Hill in Leicestershire, June 2013. Canon 550D with a Tair 3S 300mm lens at f/4.5 mounted on a Skywatcher EG3 Pro Synscan. This is a combination of 20 frames, 2 mins each. Stacked in Deep Sky Stacker software.

The lens is from an old Russian "Fotosniper" kit, and it has fantastic optical properties; very sharp even wide open. It has M42 mount so an adaptor is needed to mount it to the Canon.
