mounting brackets

Joe_L

Close up of mounting brackets. One screw is fixed, the other can be adjusted to provide lateral alignment. The adjustable screw is allowed to rotatefreely at one end by using a nylock nut, the other end goes into a tapped hole so its length changes as it is turned. Vertical alignment provided somewhat more crudely with a slotted hole for one of the screws to the binocular body.
