NGC0896 LRGB (adjacent to Heart Nebula in Cas.)
My first attempt at Hydrogen Alpha (Ha) imaging, along with M16, the Eagle Nebula.
This small portion of the much larger Heart Nebula highlights the capabilities of the SX Superstar when it comes to narrow-band imaging on an Alt/Az mount.
The filter used was the Astrodon 3nm 1.25", which unfortunately is not parfocal with my Baader LRGB filters, making focusing a bit more challenging.
70x50seconds x L Ha G B = 3.8 hours exposure combined
