used four identical layers in gimp2..each one screened then colourised magenta cyan yellow black...gave more control with contrast and shadows.resulted greyscale image pre stacked in registax 5 and captured with sharp cap...

getting really windy by this time..tried to keep lined up with the slo mos but even registax couldnt fix my shakey hands...not too bad though..

Good stuff.

The moon is not as easy as it looks even with its size its still a tough target to get spot on. Focus and stability are the key.
