Neil, Sirius was moving pretty fast there, like it though.

The moon, have you got the webcam attached to the scope, when I say attached, the lens out and an adapter attached?

Hi Jim,

I have a 1.25" adapter for my Cannon camera.

I took the lens out of the Webcam and taped the Webcam to the 1.25" adapter, so that the light from the Telescope shone directly onto the CMOS sensor in the webcam.

This was before I had a drive for my telescope. I might try it again with the single axis drive I bought, when the clouds clear.

Regards

Neil

Love the Sirius video, with all the colour it reminded me of the special effects in Star Trek (Original series). :) I must admit, I've never attempted this but you've piqued my interest.

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the comment,

Never thought of submitting to Hollywood, maybe for a remake of ST:TOS, The Corbomite Maneuver. :-)

Damn it, Trekky exposed.

Best Regards

Neil
