Redoing the pier

The Sailor

As I am now changing from a CG-5GT to a NEQ6 the pier need to have a bit lopped off, not easy as it is concrete :(. Anyway, this afternoon I decided to get it done and got the electric saw out, yes thats right, the electric saw!! It's one of those all singing and dancing thingys you put in whatever blade and has a powerful motor. Well the motor may be powerfull but the blade was another thing, not only that but in a confined space and at a height not conducive to old age, my arms gave out after my body was shattered my flying bits of concrete. I ended up using a lump hammer and bolster and after five minutes it all happened, top off and ready for a cleanup. The next installment next week when I prepare the top for the new mount.

Now, that is indeed a makeover! Take it easy out there with an electric saw,.. and concrete! You used a saw against concrete? You are indeed very brave. Good luck on the installment next weekend!

The weather is not the best here Isabelle, if clouds are not around then it's a sea mist, either one or another lol. Still, plans are on schedule :)

Well, you don't need clear skies for the building part right? Once done though, I can only wish you clear skies for the weekend!

At last, the pier adaption for the NEQ6 is finished, can now load it fully and give it full use, now what I need is clear skies :)

Congrats now sit down with a celebratory drink and wait for the night to come! Doesn't it feel god when an important project is completed with success?
